A compulsory loan of 36 millions Euros announced the in Athens Stock Exchange (ASE) Metal industry ARKADIA C.ROKAS SA, with objective the financing of the biggest Wind Park in Greece, with 40.3 MW power capacities. The announced convention was signed on 21.April 2004 in the offices of HypoVerein Bank (HVB) in Athens, between the HVB the National Bank of Greece and the ROKAS WIND THRACE II SA, a subsidiary company of C.ROKAS SA.The project which will be financed with the capital of this loan, is founded in Thrace (N. Greece) in place called Patriarchies and in attitude of 1.100 m high, very near in the Greek-Bulgarian borders.His manufacture will be completed in few months, while is be expected to be placed in operation in October 2004.The ROKAS Company is pioneer in the Wind Energy, opening the way from 1998 and having today almost 40% of this market in Greece, with 11 Wind Parks and o totally capacity of 148,2 MW.The HVB is the second bigger bank in Germany and from the most specialized banks worldwide in project finance, while National Bank of Greece the first bank in Greece is participates with active role from 1999 to all financing and investing projects that have materialized the Group ROKAS.
