British Petroleum has voiced readiness to take part in the construction of the India-Pakistan-Iran gas pipeline in the Pakistani territory. A senior BP official has noted that it is ready to participate in laying the gas pipeline across the Pakistani territory under the Iran-Pakistan-India project. He said that Pakistan would lay the pipeline in its territory and may decide to award a contract to oil companies. All international oil and gas companies would be invited to carry out the gas pipeline in Pakistan, he added. “Pakistan may float a tender to award a contract after completion of the feasibility study of the project,” the official said.
