An additional power supply of 1,600 megawatts is now availablefor industrial and business consumer in Greater Jakarta. Poor electricty indfrastructure has long a major strumbling block for Indonesia effort to atracct forgein investors

PLN  plans to add 4710 megawatt under the same program for Java and Bali grids nect year. To support the power distribution, the company establish 5407 distribution stations across the two islands.
